How does the period cramp simulator work? Our device uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to contract your abdominal muscles and replicate the sensation of real menstrual cramps — with adjustable intensity levels so you control the experience.

How many intensity levels are there? The simulator has 10 intensity levels, from mild discomfort to a full-on cramp experience. Most people tap out around level 4 or 5. Just saying.

Is it safe to use? Yes. EMS technology is widely used in physical therapy and sports recovery. Always follow the instructions included in the box and avoid use if you have a pacemaker or are pregnant.

How realistic is it? As close as we could get. We worked with women's health specialists to calibrate each level to reflect real menstrual pain. It's not identical — but it's eye-opening enough.
